For more than a decade, Utah State University has hosted a Health and Wellness Expo to help students, faculty and staff learn about resources and services that USU has to offer and to help prioritize well-being. This year’s expo will be held Feb. 13-17, 2023, with events held each day of the week.
The exposition will help students, faculty and staff refocus, refresh and reconnect with their health and well-being. Studies have shown that focus on health and wellness are crucial to leading positive lives and can help with better performance in classes, at work and in life in general.
“The Health & Wellness Expo exposes participants to issues that encourage a healthy lifestyle,” said Ryan Barfuss, prevention specialist at the Student Health and Wellness Center. “Our theme this year is “Refresh, Refocus, Reconnect” and includes fitness, nutrition, relaxation, sustainability, general wellness and financial well-being. Employees, students, and the community are all invited to celebrate and learn about wellness opportunities and services.”
The Health and Wellness Expo is a collaboration between USU’s Student Health and Wellness Center, USU Campus Recreation, and the USU Employee Wellness Program. The expo will feature a health fair, workshops and fitness classes.
